The Oval Wooden Dowel is perfect for teaching young and novice dogs a calm, firm dumbbell hold. Constructed the same as our round dowel but with an oval shaped body. The body of the dowel is drilled through the center with a rope running through it which allows you to put pressure on the dowel while it is in the dog's mouth during proofing of the dumbbell hold.
